Champion

If you are here, you believe in the future of learning, and the future of our youth. Become a Champion.

Winning Teams partners with socially committed organisations and individuals, including business, NGO’s, government institutions, private educational institutions, universities, community-interest groups, teachers, learners, tutors and volunteers.

If you share our commitment to re-imagining the future of learning to empower young people to make a meaningful contribution to the future, then we are sure that there is an important role for you to play by joining forces with us.

Become an Advocate

So how can you help us to empower young people? Maybe you are a parent, a teacher, a tutor, learner, a past participant from business, or someone who has helped us in the past. So how can you help us? Well, there are several ways:

  • Talk to others about us.
  • Tell us why you would recommend us to others.
  • Comment on our blog, or send us an email.
  • Speak to educational institutions, schools, or universities.
  • Write us a testimonial telling us about your successes.
  • Become a social media ambassador for us.

We need you to help spread the word about our good work, and your experience. Make sure that you know how to present the benefits of what we do. If you have any suggestions as to what we could do better, let us know. Be ready to share what we have done for you with anyone you meet.

Help us with Donations

Help us with donations to support the work that Winning Teams does in empowering young people living in the poorest communities, to significantly improve their chances of a successful future in the workplace by equipping them with life-long learning skills.

Here are some ideas as to how you can help:

  • In-person donation – commit to a small monthly amount.
  • Corporate donation – encourage your organisation to make once-off donations. All donations to us are tax-deductible, and we will issue all the relevant documentation.
  • Corporate matching – make a donation to us, and challenge your organisation to match each donation made by your colleagues
  • Crowdfunding – start a crowdfunding campaign to help us – there are a number of South African crowdfunding platforms online

Volunteer to Help

So how can you help us?

  • We are looking for photos of young people participating in the Winning Teams Programmes.
  • Volunteer as a Youth Tutor.
  • Write guest articles on our blog on the latest trends in worldwide education.
  • Help us to identify international donors who fund innovative educational programmes in Africa
